What fits in 7 minutes
Seven minutes turns up in a lot of fixed routines. It is long enough to:
- Cook: boil an egg until the yolk is jammy, or rest a steak before you slice it.
- Speak: rehearse a seven-minute talk or debate speech with the clock in view.
- Move: run a short bodyweight circuit, then press R and go again for a second round.
- Teach: a quick write, a think-pair-share or one station in a rotation, shown full screen.
- Tidy: clear one surface completely, then stop.
Day math: seven minutes a day is 49 minutes a week, close to a full focus hour spread out in small pieces.
Want breaks built in?
The closest interval method is the 25/5 Pomodoro timer: 25 minutes of focus, then a 5 minute break, on repeat, with a 15 minute break after every 4 blocks.

Yes. Switch on rain, café or brown noise under the countdown, each with its own volume, or open a Nova Sounds playlist on Spotify alongside it.
Yes. When the end sound plays, press R to reset and Space to start again. If you want work and rest to repeat on their own, use one of the interval timers instead.
Yes. It measures elapsed time instead of counting ticks, and the tab title shows the time left.
